Shirley Collette Morris Gall, 83, of Shelton went home to the Lord on Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Gall in 2011.
Born in Maesteg, Wales, Shirley was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Morris.
She met her late husband Stephen in WW II and came to America to wed and raise a family.
Shirley leaves behind two brothers, Raymond Morris and his wife Muriel of Danbury, CT, and John Morris and his wife Roma of Castro Valley, VA, a sister-in-law Eleanor Spadaccini of Wakefield, RI, five children – Stephen Gall of Rocky Hill, CT; Darryl Gall and his wife Mary of Shelton, CT; David Gall and his wife Denise of Boulder, CO; Susan Vickers and her husband Peter Masanotti of Fairfield, CT; and Jeffrey Gall and his wife Darice of Woodbridge, CT, and 13 grandchildren (Stephen, Vanessa, Darren, Danielle, Melissa, Nicole, Kaitlin, Lauren, Robin, Peter, Christopher, Olivia, and Sophia), 10 great grandchildren (Zachary, Amber, Taylor, JC, Sade, Arielle, Kira, Gavin, Mya, and Emerson), and wonderful neighbors Eric and Sue Christensen.
She will be deeply missed by family, relatives and friends, but her spirit will be everlasting.
Special thanks to the caring hospice nursing staff at Bridgeport Hospital. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday June 28, 2013 in St. Joseph Church 424 Coram Ave. Shelton, CT. Burial will follow in the Lawn Cemetery Shelton. At the request of her family there are no calling hours.
